The effort was there...no, really...

However, it just didn't have much charm to it. Look, I know stop animation stuff takes time, effort, and all that other stuff, but this really didn't seem all that special. In fact, you can tell that not even a fourth of this movie is actual stop frame. The portion that is isn't really all that great and there wasn't much detail to it. Normally, stop animation stuff I would give a higher rating...but as I said, it just wasn't all that great.

Hey, it looks like it might be okay...

I just wanted you to know something before you accuse me of plagiarism and stuff. My alias, "gunsage," is based off of a game that has been in development for about 5 years or so now that I am creating. It will be called "Gun Sage." True, it's not Gun Mage, but it's close. Just wanted to let you know. Anyway, this is an okay movie...I wish I knew more about it, though...it looks like it might be nice.

Actually I have never heard of GunSage, but I don't really care, I mean honestly, I'm getting a bit of flak from Hellsing viewers who don't realize Hellsing is based off of Trigun, GunGrave (offspring of Trigun), Devil May Cry, and Vampire Hunter D. Check those out, (all which came out before) then tell me that Hellsing is "original" and I'm the one thats copying. Honestly, in anime, there are about 3 originals, Gundam, Evangelion, Fist of the North Star, and Lupin the 3rd :). More so on that though, they all just bit off of either the Bible or Akira Kurosawa or in Hellsings instance, both and Anne Rice. But what do I know, I just copy stuff. :)

[Crow Clock Shorts #01]

A nice, short movie.

The graphics and animation were quite nice. Unfortunately, for about a third of the movie, there was no background. The style was obvious (parody) but it really wasn't all that great...more tongue in cheek than anything. Sound? Well, the narrator was done nicely, but really there wasn't much sound aside from that. The only violence here (which, to me, doesn't affect the rating unless it's SUPPOSED to be violent) is in mentioning homicide and also when crow clock takes out clear clock...that's about it. As I said before, the humor was okay...not great, but okay. I think I'm going to give this a 3 because of the artwork.

Well, there is a background. It is just a white and grey one. I think an intricate background would have actually detracted from the movie, that's why I didn't make one. There is actually a lot more sound in there than you probably realize. There are numerous sound effects and I have music throughout the entire movie.

It was okay...

But there are three things that are wrong here...

1. It's too damn slow! If you made it faster, it would mask some of the bad animation! It would also hurry things along, too!

2. It's too damn long! Because of how slow it is, it's just insult to injury when you make a movie this long THAT slow!

3. Who the FUCK cares about what the little dude said in the other movie?! Just because it's high ranked and he makes a point doesn't mean that everyone that votes low on your movie is an asshole! Maybe, just MAYBE, it means that your movie SUCKS!

All in all, not a bad movie...but seriously, it needs to be faster or at least shorter. The graphics, although mostly stick figures, were actually pretty okay. I couldn't hear the sound because this computer doesn't have any. Well, that's about it.

I knew it wasn't going to be good as soon as I saw the phrase "laoding." It's LOADING, you fuck! What's with that anyway? Is it like some more hacker jargon or some shit? Ehh...anyway, the movie was okay. I like hand drawn stuff. However, it wasn't nearly as long or as funny as I like 'em.

(directed toward last reviewer) If you had used flash for more than 5 seconds you would see that the sounds from joecartoon.com are the standard sounds in the flash program. why dont you gather some information before you speak, you fucking idiot.

for the last time, THE MISSPELLING OF THE WORD LOADING WAS INTENTIONAL, THE WRITING WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE A CHILD'S HANDWRITING. LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE ABOUT IT SHIT!
