[Hand2hand Kombat 4 Redux]

Well, it was good, but...

There's something awkward about this whole movie...maybe you didn't catch it. You've specifically named this "Hand 2 Hand" combat, correct? Then why the hell is it that over half the movie is weapons, spells, and shit? All in all, a pretty good movie with some nice animation.

You put a music track on, a bunch of dancing characters, and it's supposed to be good, eh? Retard.

Yeah, it was pretty corny, but the animation was sweet. As far as the sound quality goes, it wasn't THAT bad. It would've been cooler if there was more color, slightly more animation, and more BLOOD! :P But as is, it was pretty good.

Well, the graphics were nice, but where's the animation? Seriously, there wasn't much animation at all. And what there was of it wasn't all that great. It was just a bunch of well drawn tweening. I couldn't possibly give this movie more than a 2...since the artwork and music were nice, that's what I gave it. Dude, if you want to impress people, have artwork like that animate! That'd be awesome!

I knew it wasn't going to be good as soon as I saw the phrase "laoding." It's LOADING, you fuck! What's with that anyway? Is it like some more hacker jargon or some shit? Ehh...anyway, the movie was okay. I like hand drawn stuff. However, it wasn't nearly as long or as funny as I like 'em.

(directed toward last reviewer) If you had used flash for more than 5 seconds you would see that the sounds from joecartoon.com are the standard sounds in the flash program. why dont you gather some information before you speak, you fucking idiot.

Yes, it is a tragedy...

However, this is not a flash animation. I know I'm going to get hammered for this pretty damn hard from you AND other reviewers, but look...it is a tragedy, it does need to be addressed, it definitely needs to be remembered...the problem is...all this animation is is just a compilation of the movies shown on TV...almost like you didn't even bother to add any artwork or anything at all. In fact, if you'd been stripped of the movies in here, all you'd have is fading text...and that's not a movie...it's more like a book. I'm not making fun of you or the incident nor do I intend to. In fact, I have friends that were over there in all 3 of the locations...they're all alive, but still. What I'm trying to say is that I've seen at LEAST 20 movies about it today alone. Only 2 were actually decent...the rest were just pictures. And you know what? Check which one is number one of newgrounds now. Look, I know that's not the purpose, but the truth is, as a member of this site, seeing a movie that is a bunch of pictures, albeit a tragedy in itself, as number one on this site is pretty bad. You can say whatever you want about that statement...and that's fine. I expect to get bitched at. This is an event that will be remembered forever...but is it really a better movie than all the rest? In reality, no, it's not. But most people are sentimental enough that they're giving the movie high ratings only because they can relate to this tragedy. I only give a movie high ratings if it's a good movie (good graphics, sound, humor, etc.). All this movie has is movies and text. It's not a bad animation, but come on...it's at 3.33 as I'm viewing it now. I wouldn't doubt it will go higher. Anyway, I guess I'd better expect some serious bitching soon.

You have a point. And you're right, the only thing I have demonstrated is that I have a good video capture utility and that I figured out how to import it into flash. However, I made this to convey how I felt about what had happened, and make a point. Go into any art museum. the modern work you see there is not all painting and sculpture. You might even see a peice that makes you say "what is that piece of crap doing here? My three year old could make one of those!" Thats when you have to look deeper than the surface. Same situation at NG.
(Although I've seen peices here and at museums that are true pieces of crap...)

Look, I'm not complaining or anything...but if it takes you 4000 hours to make something that lasts less than 30 seconds and isn't superior in any way, that's...kind of bad. I still liked the movie, though.

Demos are NOT supposed to be submitted to newgrounds, dammit! Look, you did a really nice job on the 10 seconds or so of the actual movie...which is great and all, but still...this is a DEMO...and unfortunately, that means it shouldn't be here.

I'm not going to vote 5 just because you tell me to. In fact, no one should vote 5 for this unless they're OBSESSED with stick figures. Seriously, I thought it was quite nice, but it was WAY too short and "vote 5" is like a command...so fuck that.
